    You could hear the music from the parking garage. I had to shout to communicate with the greeter. Asked for a table away from the upstairs festivities. They put us in the back near the fireplace but still we could not hear one another speak. The upstairs dj was so loud my Apple Watch kept sending me notices that the decibels were at dangerous levels. Why would they rent out the upstairs for a dance knowing it would be that disruptive? We would normally have another bottle of wine and desserts following dinner. Decided to go to another restaurant to finish up the evening. Service was meh.

    The shrimp meze our awesome waiter Yianni suggested was fantastic! Everything was delicious and better than remembered. We cannot wait to return.

    We had a beautiful Easter Brunch overlooking the park. There was a large buffet of familiar and new Greek specialties accompanied by live Greek music. Indoor parking is provided at $4.95 for four hours.

    Our party of ten (including children) received excellent service from the restaurant’s very friendly — and very patient — staff. Avli’s food is consistently good (would love a bit more expanded brunch menu though) and we’re fortunate to have them in the neighborhood.

    One of the prettiest dining rooms in Chicago. Staff was extremely friendly with great service from Bobby. Manager Robert was also wonderful. Loved the food and presentation. We will be back.
