   One of the most delicious meals of my life! Incredibly unique and mouth watering. The staff was so welcoming and we can’t wait to return!

   The staff seemed harried, we could hear the waiter or chef’s description of the food, so didn’t know what we were eating (we were told the element of surprise was why there was no menu.) We were promised a menu at the end of the meal, but then they didn’t have one. Was told they’d email one, which never came. Our particular waiter spoke very solely & had an accent so we never did know what he was saying - there were 4 of us, and we all felt the same way. This was at least our 5th time dining there & it was a disappointment - had always raved about it before

    We had a great experience dining on the patio at Aubergine. The service was excellent with a great wine pairing suggested by the Som. Just remember to take a light jacket on the patio in Carmel in the summer.
