Ataula restaurant, open since 2012, is the brainchild of Chef Jose Chesa and Cristina Baez. The goal was to create a tapas style restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere that still reached high culinary standards; and that is just what Ataula is. Reservations are encouraged at this popular quaint restaurant open nightly Tuesday through Saturday. Ataula features cuisine that combines Spanish and Catalan flavors with fresh Northwestern ingredients. The menu features tapas, as well as plates meant for sharing, which allows guests to try multiple dishes each visit. Popular options include items, such as tortilla de patatas, croquetas, xupa xup and the signature paella ataula. One of the many Spanish wines available pairs perfectly with any dish.
