   Food and service were excellent, however prices were high. 2 meals, with drinks with tip came to 250.00. For the size of the meals I feel the prices were unreasonable. I would not recommend unless you want to spend 100.00+ per person.

   My wife and I have eaten at Aspen’s before the new ownership and after. I believe the new ownership has stepped up a bit from previous. The food is wonderful. Presentation was on point and our server every time we go is a joy. The live piano music is a nice touch. Price wise I don’t feel Aspen’s is overpriced. It’s on the higher end for this town but it’s well worth it. There are other delicious steaks in town but I feel Aspen’s is more worth my money. This isn’t a Chili’s and shouldn’t be expected to be one. My only issue with the restraint is the dated decor. No big deal.

   The service was wonderful, the food was very bland. My husband had the prime rib, it was lacking flavor. I had the shrimp Alfredo, it also lacked flavor, and the shrimp was very rubbery, and dry. I usually love shrimp, so not sure if it was old, or freezer burnt? But it was not good at alk

   Don’t come here, Krystal the server was such a professional, despite the restaurant failing colossally she was still polite, courteous and calm. I had booked a table initially for 6pm, and had to reschedule for 7:30. OpenTable showed there were open tables, so I managed to get the 7:30 slot. I received a confirmation of the change and went there for 7:30. When we arrive the restaurant had not adjusted my time and notified that they could not take us. We then sat there for 40 minutes before getting our table. Afterwards we waited 2 hours to get our food until we eventually said that we were no longer interested in waiting more and wanted to leave. Krystal then informed us that they only had one chef and did not expect the amount of guests (there is a mining show in town hence the more volume in patrons.) nonetheless, if you cannot accommodate guests then just notify them instead of them having to wait 2+ hours.

   We drive in from Salt Lake City because our friend Connie plays piano in the Aspen Room during dinner certain times of the year. She plays tv theme songs, movie theme songs and just regular songs and we try to guess them. Last time we got the chicken caesar salad. Delicious and HUGE!! This time my friend got the salad again but I got the Tiger Shrimp appetizer, a side of rice and a baked potatoe. Everything was delicious except the Tiger Shrimp. It had no taste whatsoever. We will definitely go again but try something else on the menu. Great Place!!!!

   The food was absolutely delicious. Our server was top notch and the ambience created by the guitar player took our experience to the next level

    First time I've been there since the ownership change. The menu hasn't changed but the food sure has, we were utterly disappointed. The food was mediocre at best and the service was on par with the food. One of our guests was delivered the wrong entree, the waitress misheard him?? The restaurant did one thing, they hired a keyboard player and she was the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, it will be a long time before I go back ... at the prices they charge the experience should have been much nicer.
