We were the only diners on a Saturday night; that should have been a clew. The background music was way too loud. My wife and I both agreed our entrees were awful. The server was very pleasant however, she made too many mistakes with our order.

The outdoor patio is very scenic and relaxing. The shrimp tacos were great. Everyone liked their entrees.

Even with reservations we waited 45 minutes to be seated and another 10-15 before anyone came to our table . The service staff seemed very disorganized. Staff tried to deliver the wrong food to our table and those surrounding us. People next to us leaned over to say that they really liked the food but couldn't ever understand the service. After another long wait ( where our server kept telling us the kitchen was all backed up) our meals were delivered. One was not correct but my husband accepted it because we were afraid it would take too long to get the correct meal. The fish we ordered was excellent - perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was "all you can eat "and we asked for seconds. They only brought seconds to one of us! Again, we decided it was not worth the wait to see IF we might get another plate.

Tables were on top of each other. They ran over 45 minutes behind schedule. Our table wobbled and they were reluctant at first to move us. After insisting on speaking to a manager, they moved us to the table by the entrance way, literally inches from the entrance way, but at the point I did not care anymore. The server never even poured our wine, we had to do ourselves. Had the seafood pasta, was fair. My husband ordered the filet, it was good. The service was less than attentive and the service was slow, considering we ordered the special. Also overheard sarcastic remarks about other guest from servers as they entered and exited the dining room. They obviously did not like their jobs. Live music was ok. Would have been nice to have enough room for a dance floor, but they obviously were trying to serve the maximum occupancy. Not sure if this is how they are set up all the time, but I would not go back simply because they have horrible seating arrangements. Not worth the quality of food even at $70.00 per couple. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for.

The busboy who set the table next to ours after we were seated was badly in need of deodorant. The server was kind of brisk, kind of bored with her job. Other than that the restaurant was very clean and tidy and was inviting. The tables were squeezed pretty close together and made it look crowded although the noise leavel still very low.

Frankly, we had fairly low expectations because we had only been to Ashbury's for golf and drinks. We were very pleasantly surprised, especially for the price! The atmosphere was nice, the service was good, and the food was excellent. A great value and nice memories. Would do this Valentine's dinner again in a "heartbeat".

This place has done a great job of bringing the food up to a better level. We stopped coming here about a year ago and said we would never come back. Found out they got a new chef and tried it. We were surprised to find the food and service very good. Where else can you get a steak for 17.99? Went for half price bottle of wine night and enjoyed it, new entertainment too boot!

A group of us traveling into the area stumbled upon this place. All the staff were friendly and worked as a team to make it a great dining experience. All the entrees were excellent - fish, steak, chicken and pasta. Everyone remarked how good the food was. Our waitress provided us with recommendations and showed us their extensive wine list. Dessert was the highlight - fresh baked chocolate chip cookie in a skillet and a warm brownie ala mode!
