Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten brings an authentic biergarten experience to Asbury Park.

We welcome you to join us in the centuries-old European tradition – communal tables where friends and soon-to-be-new-friends mingle in a lively, friendly atmosphere. The establishment features a 7,200 square foot outdoor rooftop Biergarten and 6,000 square foot indoor Halle where our bartenders pour premium international draft beers.

Had reservations for 6pm got there early at 4 pm. Was told kids movie night. Ask hostess if we could sit in a quiet spot she basically set us in first table closest to screen said she was not able to move us. We finished our dinner. Most of the tables in quieter spots still remained empty. Btw was celery 60th birthday. Poor accommodations

I had people from out of town in to celebrate a birthday and we made reservations to have dinner and drinks. After triple checking the website for kitchen closing times, we determined that our reservation time was good. We arrived 20 minutes early only to find that our reservation wasn’t even relevant anymore because the place was practically empty and they had stopped serving food an hour and a half before we arrived. While in the past we’ve had good experiences, this one soured us and we are unlikely to return. There needs to be better communication between the Biergarten and Open Table about what time reservations should be granted and the Biergarten needs to be more transparent about their hours.

When we get to Ocean Grove we always make a stop here. We love the food, beer and ambiance. Feels like a beer hall should. Great music tonight.
