Aridus Wine Company is a family owned vineyard and winery that produces award winning wines in Arizona. Our Scottsdale Tasting room is located in Old Town Scottsdale, walking distance to restaurants, museums, art galleries, and entertainment.

Unfortunately, Aridus does not participate in the Scottsdale Wine Trail program at this time.

We admit, we’re spoiled by wine tours in CA. This could have been so much better. We were given very little information about the wine when there is an interesting story to tell. Ended up buying a bottle of wine but that was the end of the story. It seemed as if we were an imposition on phone time of the woman there.

Got a bad vibe as soon as our group walked in. We went to the counter amd were greeted with a how many? I replied with 6 and the lady gave us a look and then was asked if we had made a reservation. When I told her yes, she seemed, I dont know, like disappointed, because she couldnt turn us away. She showed us the flight options and then started pouring. She gave us no explaination of what the wines were or anything. It was disappointing. Wines were not amazing, but not bad. Overall, I was not impressed. Will not be back.

I would not list this as a dining venue. The meat and cheese boards were great but not filling. It would be great to have olives and crunchy breads or bagel chips. Also it wasn’t well explained how the flights worked. We were served our 1st wine at the table, after that we were supposed to go up to the counter for each subsequent wine. But, once we understood that we were great. We ended up buying some of the wines. They were excellent. The sommelier had great info on the winery and the wine makers. Again as a dining destination it is only 2 stars but as an experience it is 5 star. All in all it was a great experience, but we went to our show kind of hungry.
