   We went to this restaurant for my husband’s birthday. As soon as we stepped into the door we were cordially received by the host and taken to our lake view table. The staff explained the specials and gave us a wine list offering a special wine at a great price. The food was fresh and very delicious and the service was very attentive to our needs. The restaurant was meticulous and tastesfully decorated inside and out. In addition, we were very pleased with our culinary choices and the very attentive treatment we received. We loved everything about the restaurant and are eagerly awaiting our next visit there. Thank you for an exceptional evening.

   We went for Mother's Day brunch. We'd never been, but wanted to choose a nice place to celebrate Mother's Day. The reviews suggested it was "scenic" overlooking a lake, which I thought would be nice. The food was terrific, and the staff was all very nice. All the staff actually greeted us as we walked in - I think we were the first customer's of the day (10:15AM reservation). And they were certainly wild about my son - 18 months old that day, and very well behaved. My only critique would be that, even tho we were the very first people to walk in through the door, we were seated in a "hall" type of spot. so while my wife & son had somewhat of a "view" (which is certainly whats most important to me), my view was them (lovely of course) and a wall. I didn't really understand how they had this florida-room style dining area, all with large windows overlooking the lake, why we wouldn't have been seated there. I could understand if the place was packed etc... but we were first, and apart from maybe someone who was related to someone at the restaurant (I think?), no one else was dining until we were wrapping up our meal and walking out. note: they are changing their name to Belle Vie (sp?) this week. we had met the new owner, who seemed nice. perhaps we'll give them another chance in the future under the new name. maybe we'll even get seated in the nicer room next time!

   Where to begin.... Although the restaurant is located directly on Main St., it is not very noticeable. The new owner assured me that they would be getting new signage under their new name, Bella Vie (instead of Arie Melanie). The bartender took 3 tries on an empty night to get a vodka and sprite correct with no apologies. My party and I were seated with a beautiful view of the lake however the restaurant room itself was lacking. Considering the restaurant was empty, there is no reason why my party had to ask the waiter to bring our entrees after waiting a considerable amount of time. The waiter was cordial. My tuna was WAY overcooked (it no longer looked like fish) and a side order was forgotten. By the time the waiter came back it was too late to reorder with the meal. The owner came over after dinner and did not acknowledge the mistakes brought to his attention. He did send over complimentary chocolate covered strawberries but with so many restaurants in the area I likely would pass on this one and not recommend it.

   Everything about this restaurant was great but chef fabrizio is the best. The bacon wrapped filet was amazing

   I really want the new owners to succeed so we will give it another try. But, the food was fair and the waiters are so inexperienced and have such limited English skills that I can’t believe they are working as waiters. They were sweet and polite, but they didn’t understand us. So, it’s not as if they need more experience as waiters; they need to learn English.

   Atmosphere on the lake is delightful. Thoroughly enjoyed the short ribs. The pistachio cheese cake was so light and delicious. The new owner Michael was attentive and pleasant.

   Well it turns out we caught the restaurant on the first night with the new owners! Service was slow but we had a great experience anyway. Food was delicious and the new owners were very welcoming. Will be back soon!

    Nice atmosphere, good food, new owner but same chef. Menu prices reasonable but cocktails too expensive.
