Great spot for a happy hour! $2 off any wine from 5-7pm during the weekday. A fun spot with cute decor, big bar, high top seating and then a smaller dining area. Only suggestion would be to have a slightly bigger food menu. Would return!

With MCC and A.R.T. having wonderful seasons, I've been on the look out for a place in that area to enjoy a pre-theater bite. I feel I struck gold with Ardesia, which is so much more than a wine bar. The small plates were fabulous, particularly the lamb skewers with minted yogurt and the spinach and cheese croquettes. And the pisco sour was beautifully prepared. Tables are small, but the seating is quite comfortable. And the noise level was a comfortable buzz.

It was close to impossible to get someone to wait on us- the waiter assigned to our area actually completely ignored us even when we tried to flag him down. He came over and said "I'll be right back" and never came. We only got food and drinks because the hostess ended up waiting on us. It was some of the worst service I have ever had in the city. The food and wine were actually really good though- but the service was extremely underwhelming.
