   I hate leaving bad reviews but gosh even my kids did not eat their food except the fries. Kids Pizza was not good at all, water tastes horrible, the calamari was dried, over fried and rubbery, we couldn't even eat it. I was disappointed to say the least. Good thing we are not from around here , definitely will not go back there again. Not the dining experience I am accustomed to.

   We recently dined at The Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville, and while the ambiance was absolutely stunning, everything else fell flat. The food was, quite frankly, disappointing. My shrimp Alfredo had overcooked, rubbery shrimp atop cold pasta. My husband tried the German chocolate cheesecake and found it bland with an odd, unappealing texture. Even my child’s burger had a strange aftertaste that made us question the quality. Service was mediocre at best, with our server disappearing for long stretches, leaving us without water or refills for most of the meal. Not the worst service we’ve ever had, but certainly not what you would expect from a place with such an impressive atmosphere and high prices. All in all, it was a major letdown. The setting had so much potential, but the food and service didn’t come close to matching it. We left disappointed, and unfortunately, feeling like the experience just wasn’t worth the cost.

   The restaurant itself was beautiful and my kids loved being able to look at the aquarium while we ate. It was relaxing. However the menu is very limited, and not very good quality food. I would have rather ate the chicken tender kids meal compared to the fish and gator tacos that my husband and I ordered. Very low quality food for high pricing. The only time we saw our server was to order food and for the check basically. And don’t order the sweet tea. It’s barely sweet with no sugar in sight, and no way to ask for it

   There were many open tables and our family of 4 was put at a tiny table that we were literally on top of one another, especially with our dinner plates and drinks. Toby was our waitress and was clearly overwhelmed with the amount of tables she was assigned. She never asked how our food was and my children finally went to the gift shop to do something while I waited for her to be attentive and check me out. It wasn’t necessarily her fault the service was terrible, she was busy. There also was another waiter that kept going in and out of the little room by our table and he was constantly mumbling to himself as well as almost bumping into our table. I’m glad we got there at 4pm instead of our 615 reservation. I can’t imagine what it would have been like at the height of the dinner rush.

   Lovely server. Food was just ok. The atmosphere engaged my grandson completely.

   It was too hot and too loud. They have overfilled the place with tables, and it creates too much congestion for people attempting to view the tanks. Especially when bus cart after cart continues to use the path people are trying to stand in to view the fish. Terrible design. However, the employees who were pushing said carts were also very curteous and kind.

    Beautiful restaurant. It was our date night and we came to Tennessee from Atlanta. We would definitely come again!
