   No doubt Apropos is a good option for busy executives staying at the hotel without time or inclination to venture outside for breakfast. It certainly boasts a decent made-to-order eggs bar, where one can order omelets, pancakes and waffles. Staff were very courteous. I was in town for a day and booked for what I hoped would be an intimate brunch with my son, who is at university locally. Apropos is in an undecorated ball room with a low ceiling, and the ambiance of a cafeteria. There were so many tables that a reservation was irrelevant, and hostess had no idea that I had made one, which left doubt as to whether I would receive my Open Table points. At $25 a head, the experience did not fit what my son and I sought, so we cut short our visit and went to a bookstore's cafe around the corner.

   The brunch at this restaurant was rather pricey. There was a good selection of food items. Our waiter was very cordial and attentive. I hope that I do receive my Open Table points since they were not set up electronically to check my reservation or input the information.

   good place to meet colleagues for breakfast. Had discount breakfast buffet because of my spg membership. Decent buffet selection.

   Converted conference room with no atmosphere, mediocre food at best, surly service. Go anywhere else!

   Nice place for a buffet brunch, there was 16 of us and the service wonderful. The service team was friendly and always there to help with drinks clearing the table and taking care of special orders. The food was hot and fresh and there was plenty of coffee and fruit juices, everything you would expect for a nice brunch

   Although I made a reservation and called a week in advance, when I arrived 15 minutes before the group was to arrive, no one seemed to know that there was a group coming in and I ended up moving the tables to get set for their arrival. We were on a tight time frame and no one seemed to care.

   Food was pretty typical for a hotel, but incredibly expensive for brunch. Even the mediocre buffet was $25. At least the kids, 4 and under ate for free, but overall the value was pretty poor. We chose it for convenience, but I would not go back there again. There are just too many other options in the neighborhood that offer better quality and value.

    I needed a restaurant close to Hynes Convention Center that could accomodate a group of 10 for breakfast, and would allow us to order a la carte instead of investing in a pricey breakfast buffet. Apropos fit the bill. Our Open Table reservation was somehow misplaced, but we were still seated and served promptly, and our heroic waitstaff provided separate checks!
