   This is a high quality food and service experience. Shannon was great and the Chef’skills are second to none.

   Best setting. Food and service in the area. Only complaint is parking for restaurant guests.

   This is a beautiful spot at Lake Lure. Tables overlooking Lake Lure. Seasonal menu and always delicious. We celebrated our anniversary and spent the night at the Lodge at Lake Lure, which is attached to the restaurant. Wonderful experience.

   Appalachia keeps it fresh with constant menu updates and new surprises every visit. There is always something on the menu that just grabs you instantly and you know you have to try it. Their execution is flawless, resulting in a spectacular experience every time. Can’t wait to go back!

   The menu was diverse and made selection difficult, and the food was amazing! Everyone at our table was delighted with their choices. Service was prompt and polite and neither fussy nor overly familiar. The decor is spot-on perfection for the location and architecture and the view cannot be beat. The entire property is gorgeous and welcoming. This is my fourth visit to Appalachian and I will definitely return despite living in another state. Cannot recommend highly enough!

   A hidden gem of a place. Lisa was wonderful. Pleasant and professional. A small but carefully crafted menu to entice everyone’s tastebuds. We look forward to our next visit.

   Amazing meal. We had tomahawk ribeye carved table side with blackened shrimp. The smashed fingerling potatoes roasted in duck fat were unbelievable

    Outstanding experience, start to finish. Michaela was our server and did an excellent job - friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Food was top shelf, from the amuse bouche to the dessert, everything was delicious and beyond expectations. The entire inn has been redone and is lovely.
