   Had an early brunch there twice on our visit to Kauai and both times the food and service was excellent. The Tow-In (huge slice of French toast, topped with Haupia pudding and toasted mac nuts, served with real maple syrup, eggs and bacon) is a must try along with their innovative daily specials.

   Stay away from Anuenue Cafe as much as possible. Olympic cafe is closed for some time, they are the only one there so really really rude. We went there during busy times; we saw someone's name was crossed who came way after us so asked; was that togo order so he went early? The waitress said no, togo and sit in takes same time. They shared the table so they done early. I said if togo and sit is the same then I will do sit in only and we will share the table. Waitress said that she will look for sharing table and let us know. I told my husband that we will be sharing the table as the waitress told us and that will be earlier. My husband said it is OK to share the table if it is earlier. The waitress told us again that she will find a big table and if they are willing to share the table. After this conversation, I went to the shops and 15 mins after that we placed the order, the waitress gave us the table. It was raining so my husband asked can we switch to other table, she said yes and we sat on other table. After that one guy got our food and he said it is togo. I said no, ours is sit in. Then the same waitress who gave us table said that they asked my husband 3 times whether it is togo order, my husband said they never asked him. Then I reminded the waitress about our talk that if togo and sit in is the same time then I wanted sit in. You told us about sharing the table and we were OK with it. Then she said yes, she agreed. She said it was miscommunication on her part. When we started to eat, the owner came and said that ours is the togo order and we need to leave immediately. Very very expensive, coffee you can get for $2, for the same you pay $4 here. If you want to have a nice trip, stay away from Anuenue cafe at any cost.

   We had bfast here and were lucky to just beat the crowd. Food would be worth wait. Still recommend using OT as they held a table in reserve for us.

   We were pleasantly surprised with the delicious breakfast at Anuenue Cafe. Great service as well. Will definitely come back when we visit Kauai again!

   We were eager to try this new breakfast place in Poipu. Unfortunately, all of the food we tried was quite heavy. We may try it again next year when we return to Kauai.

   Go here for breakfast! Way better than anything offered by the local resorts.
