My friend and I were looking forward to catching up over a nice meal and were really disappointed. There was a party finishing up their meal and there was just one server in the place. I had to flag him down still so we can place our order. A very tiring lengthy process. Food was ordered and when it finally came, I was disappointed. I was expected one dish and got another. This was okay cause it was my #2 choice and since we were hungry i settled on it. However, when you have shell seafood, I would expect a side bowl to be provided so I can put the shells in. This never came, so I had to push food around my plate to make space. I did ask for a bowl and it came only at the end when I finally gave up on trying to eat my meal and my friend was already done. We asked for the check and I told him the bowl wasn't needed. He still left it on the table, commenting on how pretty it looked. Considering there was no one else in the restaurant, I'd expect more attention and overall better service even if the food falls flat. My friend ordered the veggie fettuccine dish and said it was just okay. The food was not tasty. It lacked flavor and looked/tasted over cooked. i was really disappointed with the service and quality. I would not come back and cannot recommend this place to my friends.

One of the best Peruvian food I tasted - outstanding Family owned and operated- looks simple, but very popular. I was staying at the airport hotel and took a taxi after finding this restaurant on Open Table - I am very glad I did.

We went expecting to get the flavors of Peru but were disappointed. The food was bland, overcooked and dry and overpriced. The server sat in the back of the room either transfixed with her phone or having her lunch with some friends. Any time we needed service we had to ask for it. It's no wonder there were so few people there.

Really enjoyed our dinner, very fresh fish (we had the seafood ceviche and the fried fish), loved the passion fruit cocktail (a specialty of the house), as well as the Peruvian ice cream. Incredibly reasonable, we couldn't believe we got such great food at that price. We look forward to going there again soon.

Food was great. We've been there before but this time, they had a musician playing so it was quite loud because the restaurant is small. Overall the diners seem to enjoy it!

We got to the restaurant early (around 4pm) and we're the only customers. It's a small venue, looks more like a diner than a restaurant so I was a little hesitant. Turns out the food was great, and they had all the Peruvian dishes I so love. Anticuchos, ceviche, empanadas, lomo saltado and of course, desserts! The prices are good and you get a lot of food per plate. Truly worth the drive to Redwood City. I will definitely be going back.
