   Excellently executed well organised restaurant that kept our table after lunch for ballet intervals to sit down and enjoy. Food was good and reasonably priced considering the location inside the ROH building.

   We booked an afternoon meal as we were in London for the day, everything was excellent from service to food I've marked down ambience only due to the time of day we ate I suspect evenings are busier and with more atmosphere .

   The game meat was very under par. Low food quality, i would not suggest to foodies. Try elsewhere.

   This is a lovely restaurant with excellent food - however, they stopped working with Top Table 1 and 1/2 years ago so my booking effectively didn't exist. The Staff were great in getting us a table, but don't book through this web site!

   Not a popular venue for lunch it would seem so delightfully attentive staff who had prepared our table in and out for us to choose. Obviously noted that we were celebrating one of our ladies birthday's and they made a special effort with the dessert.

   On one of the hottest days of the year, we opted to try Amphetheatre for lunch with friends. Best lunch choice ever! Everywhere in the Plaza in Covent Garden was packed yet we sat on the open terrace approx5 floors above the crowds, unrushed, chilled and plenty of spare tables too! The service at the bar wasn't the greatest but the team in the restaurant made up for the indifference of the bar staff. An unhurried lunch of butchers steak (amazing) and sea bream were just two of our main courses. Fabulous flavoured chips and summer deserts completed an outstanding lunch. This is my new favourite haunt and I'm not sure I want to share it, just to ensure I can always get a table. Love it !

   Locations and views don't get much better than this in the central London. Food choices limited but quality very good. Hard to top for an alfresco lunch!

   The location is very pleasant owing to the outdoor terrace. The service was good but perhaps not impressive. The food was essentially overpriced and unremarkable. The Tate Modern offers a more spectacular view/location with a better menu. There was no wine pairing with any of the dishes which again is offered at the Tate Modern. Overall not bad - but not great either.

    The terrace has a tiny area roped off for eating, so very exclusive! There is a small set menu - everything we had was divine! Points lost for no Pimms in the bar, but apart from that the service was great. Not cheap, for 3 courses and a G&T each for two of us it was £100, but a lovely place to eat on a sunny day for a treat. We'll be going again.
