Amor Gastronomia is the place where ancient Roman cuisine meets modern convivial taste.
At the base of our concept there is the study of the raw material, the attention to quality and the transformation of the raw product.
The ancient Rome of the imperial era, taking care to forge commercial and military relations with multiple cultures, has acquired, over time, an increasingly refined taste in the search for flavors to offer during lavish banquets and so our cuisine combines classic flavors of the Italian tradition (among the various specialties will be present - and main course - the Roman Pinsa, evolution of the ancient focaccia) those of spices and alternative flavors of Africa, Spain and the Middle East.

This was our first time at Amor. We will definitely go back there, but the jury is out on the food and wine. The welcome was really friendly, the service great, and they have a really interesting menu. The music was too loud for us, but we're in our 60s, and they're probably aiming at a younger set. My girlfriend enjoyed her burrata with a side salad. My sausage meat canneloni was good, not great, but I think canneloni is difficult to make great, and I was pleased to find it on the menu. We had the house white, which was just OK, and not great value at £30 per bottle - isn't that a bit pricey for a house wine outside the West End? All in all we had a nice meal, and look forward to our second visit.

Absolutely loved this restaurant - what a little gem! The wooden mezzanine set up is super unique and fun and service was amazing!

Very cool place and the owner's lovely. They didn't have bottled water and the mains were ok, but dessert's were great and they also gave grappa on the house.

Very nice as usual, we never get disappointed by this place. If you want to eat very good Italian food in a local restaurant this is the one.

Really outstanding service, even though she was working solo because the other girl called out. Incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic!!

A quirky and authentic Italian restaurant. The menu is not your stereotypical list of Italian dishes and pastas which makes for an interesting experience for anyone who is food-curious. Fun and friendly service/atmosphere. Not sure if it's a family business but it certainly feels like it.
