   3 old friends enjoyed a quiet, delicious lunch. Excellent service - attentive but not worrisome.

   We had an amazing experience as usual. Our server was outstanding. The meal was served timely and it was superb.

   Our party of four was seated promptly and our waiter was quick to be very attentive to us. We ordered two appetizers for the table as well as drinks from the bar. The restaurant was fairly busy but not packed to the point anyone was waiting. Our drinks and appetizers soon were placed on the table as our conversation continued around our table. One appetizer was very good (the calamari), however, the second appetizer (bruschetta) was overly toasted, I would say burnt) and was not very appealing or tasty. We mentioned our concern to the waiter and he asked if we wanted him to adjust the check. I said it was not necessary but at the end of the dinner, he did remove the charge. As for our entrees, everyone enjoyed their respective meals and we simply continued our conversation around the table. Overall, our two hour dining experience was good. I have enjoying this restaurant for approximately 30 years and this is absolutely one of my favorite places to dine when we are in Memphis!

   The salmon was amazing! My friend loved the black bean salsa that came with it. Green beans weren’t as done as I prefer. Caesar salad was delicious (substituted for one side). My husband said the stuffed veal was a little tough though good flavor. Our server, Joy, was very polite and efficient. Overall a good dining experience for the money, especially if you take advantage of early bird menu, 4-6pm. Best to make a reservation.

   We have been to this restaurant several times and we keep coming back. Only complaint is that it took entirely too long to get service from the bar. but to be fair- we were there on a Monday night so it could have been their staff was short for a relatively slow night.

   We ordered a salad with our meal. We never got the salads just the entree. When we asked about the salad they offered to bring it with the meal. When we said no just cancel the salads, no one said they were sorry. Had to ask for refills for our drinks. Food was good, service was horrible

    Revisited our favorite Italian Restaurant in Memphis. The food was amazing as always. My husband got the prime rib. I was curious how that would be at an Italian Restaurant. He surprised me and gave it a 9.75 out of 10! He said it was cooked to perfection. We had the crab cakes again this visit as it is our favorite appetizer we have ever had anywhere. Savory with a slightly tart white bean salsa. The flavors are complex but meld together perfectly. I had the spaghetti. It’s simple which I love and the best sauce I have had anywhere in the States. Great quality ingredients perfectly seasoned. My husband added the spring salad and I added the Caesar. Also very good. Lastly, the server was extremely professional anticipating our every need. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Best kept secret in Memphis.
