It was obvious that this was a training restaurant, but I do give credit to the student staff. There were small elements of the service that could have been approved, but the meal was excellent. I especially enjoyed the Kimchi Ricotta Dumplings - superb taste. The pea soup also had a delectable flavor. The Duo of Duck had amazing sides, but the duck was a bit rubbery.

A beautiful dinner at American Bounty. The restaurant is stunning high ceilings and well appointed furnishings. The service is stellar! I am in the industry and the steps of service are taken very seriously here as they should be in all high end dining establishments but sadly aren’t . Our server Marissa was awesome she was on point but not intrusive. She was well versed in all of the menu items and gave us great recommendations. All of the staff knew the ingredients of the dishes they served. We had a guest with some food allergies so this was important to us. The Kimchi dumplings were amazing as were all of our meals. The Banana Pudding dessert shouldn’t be missed. Great job CIA we will be back soon!

The students there make an exceptionally concerted effort to get everything right. The food is outstanding and the service impeccable. I highly recommend it. It is a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for.

American Bounty is a "practice" restaurant at a top culinary school. For me, it's rewarding to experience the students in action. The atmosphere and quality of ingredients is excellent. Sometimes the execution isn't quite there in every way. I get that. Most of it is quite wonderful.

As always, American Bounty never disappoints. The service, food and ambience are excellent. And, it is so inspiring to speak to the students. We were able to take advantage of the restaurant’s winter special which are three courses for $50 which is superb. Can’t wait to go back!

This restaurant is a rare find. The food quality is exquisite - the food was beautifully. We began with the oyster appetizer with a dressing that had a hot zest to it; first, the oysters were of a very fine quality tiny oysters served on the half shell, properly placed in the shell with the zest (we shared this appetizer). I next had the white asparagus and sunchokes - the texture and flavors were phenomenal. A dance on flavors, uniquely merged. My entree was the duck duo and it was heavenly, cooked to the right temperature, deliciously flavored. Included was a FAVA bean falafel. The best part, however, was the desert - the vanilla poached rhubarb. Lemon Cream, Caramelized Rice, Black Raspberry Preserves, Milk Sorbet, and Granita. The merging of the sour with the sweet and crunchy is to dream about. I am NOT a desert eater and decided to have my try at this desert and was NOT disappointed. I'm so impressed with this entire journey and will look forward to the day when I can again visit this fine institution that is training talented people!

This and my last visit to American Bounty a few weeks earlier were disappointing compared to previous years. Our server, although a week away from graduation, was not very attentive or focused. My asparagus pea soup was quite flavorless - I had to ask for salt; the duck was perfectly cooked but the side of sticky rice was a flavorless, cold bar. My dessert of apple strudel was delicious. I was disappointed that the only beef choice was a hamburger. Next time I will go to Caterina DeMedici.
