   This place is a hidden gem! The food is amazing and the service was exceptional. Every plate we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be returning!

   The food was amazing. We trusted the waiter and ordered the special which was grouper and it was amazing. My husband who doesn't like Brussel sprouts ate all of it. The cucumber and avocado salad was delicious. We even got the yuka mash and it was really good. Everything was so good and it feels like you travel back in time with the decor.

   Amelia is a nice restaurant for a casual date, special occasion or just because. The music is good and not so loud. The food is very tasty and the menu is limited. I ordered Lomo Saltado and my husband ordered Short Ribs. When the waiter came with the food, they just placed the plate in front of us and we started eating. Mind you, the lights are dim since its supposed to be an speakeasy. While we were eating we realized mine was not lomo and his was not short ribs. I ended eating ox- tail and and my husband ate my lomo. Food was good so we didn’t make a complaint but not what we ordered. I also noticed that the table was not cleaned after we ate the appetizer. I had to clean the plates to make room for the main course. This is our second time eating at Amelias and we will come again but this time I will double check our food when ordering and when is brought to the table. Thanks.

   Everything was excellent!!!! My flounder was probably the best I’ve ever had, a huge chunk, too. The yuca mash so unique and delicious, and the green beans were perfection. We were both pleased with literally every item. Also, the place is very quaint and chic. The band was great and played at a reasonable level.

   Love Amelia’s overall for happy hour, eating at the resturant or just popping in. Just went to our second Pour Decisions class. Learned about Bourbon this time… Learned how to make a couple of drinks, super fun. Small group, great people. The staff is terrific. Special shout out to Alex, Roxy & Jaylene they make learning fun🤪 Big thumbs up! Jesse

   A wise woman once said, "All we have is the knowledge passed on to us by our elders, experiences we inculcate and hardly negate. But to bridge the generation gap, one needs to adapt to the new while retaining the goodness of the old." The dining experience at Amelia's 1931 certainly retains the goodness of the old cuisine of our culture, while embracing new gastronomic experiences.

    Amelia's 1931 is a culinary masterpiece! Amelia’s 1931 is a great place with tasty Cuban-Korean food. Lovely deco. The filet mignon skewers and lomo saltado are delicious! Big thanks to Jasmine and Kevin at the bar—they make awesome drinks and are super friendly. If you’re in Miami and want something different, you have to try this place!
