   I was very very satisfied and happy about the service provided. They were all sooo nice and amazing. They went out of their way to make sure we were spending an amazing time. Really good experience!

   Closer to $75 per person as we eat heavy but it was worth every penny. Great drinks. Great food.

   This dining experience was an overall success, with standout food and thoughtfully crafted drinks. I started with two cocktails—the Eucalyptus & Yuzu and a second one recommended by the server, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Both were visually appealing and well-balanced in flavor. For the appetizer, I chose the Green Garlic Dinner Roll, which was warm, soft, and subtly flavored. While the garlic element was not prominent, that suited my preference for a milder taste. The bread paired beautifully with the butter and honeycomb, though a slightly larger portion of honey to complement the richness would have been ideal. The main course, Long Island Duck, was excellent—flavorful and well-prepared, making it a dish I would highly recommend. Service was largely exceptional, with the staff being attentive and helpful. However, the initial interaction with the host was less than ideal, possibly due to the stress of handling a large party before my arrival. While I understand the need to verify my age, the approach felt a bit off. Additionally, the hesitation around seating me in the bar/lounge despite my reservation was unexpected. Despite these minor issues, the quality of food and drinks, combined with attentive service, made for an enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

   One word, divine! I didn't have high hopes because it's a hotel restaurant, but it was AMAZING. Staff very nice and knowledgeable of the menu, and the food quality was great. Drinks a bit pricey, but good! Would definitely go back. Finding the dining room was a little tricky based on the cafe having the same name as the restaurant, but I got there in the end :).

   First, I want to thank Altair for hosting my friends & I. Second, the cocktails at Altair were really mesmerizing, not only by the presentation but by how they tasted. I had the Tequila & Soda and the Tomato soda with Aperol. Two refreshing cocktails that definitely stood out for me. My other friends had the Berries cocktail, which resembles the Clover Club cocktail, and the Evoo Martini, which is a variation of a Dirty Martini. Overall, the cocktails are worth the try and very delicious. The service was definitely great and our server was very kind, so shoutout to Ximena, who took care of us for the night.

    The restaurant itself is beautiful, although it’s very difficult to actually locate, since the entrance is behind another ( possibly related?) lounge & the entrance to a hotel. When our party of two arrived, we were inexplicably sandwiched between two other parties of 2 on the banquette - one of which had reseated themselves side by side, effectively hijacking my seat - despite there being countless other tables available. I found the menu to be conceptually interesting, but limited - the online version did not at all match & had more options. The elemental conceit is a strong one, but the execution seems half-hearted. I’m not sure why some items are air, & some are earth & some are water, etc. Which would be fine if there were more options & the execution was better. & the service was non-existent. In her defense, I’m pretty sure sure our server had been cut & was in the back doing sidework. But there was no explanation of the menu, no recommendations, no mis-en-place between courses (the food runner had to fetch new silverware after bringing our main courses), no check-in during either course, & it took so long to pay the bill, we decided against the dessert course we were originally going to have. I don’t usually say things like this, & maybe everyone was having an off night, but I was completely disappointed. Especially because we were surrounded by so much potential. I don’t know that I have ever felt so inconsequential as a diner, outside of fast food. The entire restaurant needs a refresher in the human aspect of hospitality.
