The Raclette Grill & Fondue Combo is designed for a fun and delicious family dinner.
A variety of foods can be cooked at one time, opening up the door for creativity and encouraging entertaining.
While food sizzles under the grill, meat or vegetables can be searing on top, and a bubbling pot of beef broth is ready and waiting for you and your guests to dip in their creations.

Join us for a unique private Gondola Dining Experience, located on the back patio of Alpenrose Restaurant in Vail, CO. Please note: It is a stationed Gondola, not a moving gondola.

Our gondola cabins were recruited in South Tyrol, shipped to Austria for interior design and improvements, to the Black Forest for the final touches on the outside and after a long journey eventually found its way to Vail, CO.

Poor service. Waitress did not return during meal. Drinks not refilled. Needed more plates and forks. Swiss chalet has better fondue, but gondola experience unique and made it worth while for family.

We did the gondola experience. Set price and we had to cook out food. Should have done the standard restaurant. It look good

Very fun, novel experience with excellent service. Food was delicious (who doesn’t love fondue?!) & they were super accommodating to vegetarians. Highly recommend for a unique dinner in Vail.

So cozy and such a fun and unique experience! The prix fix menu food selections could be a little better (didn’t love the pretzel and a dessert would have been nice) but we still had a great time.

We had a wonderful time in the gondolas. The food was great and our server, Bianca, was phenomenal! Our kids got food from the kids menu but ended up really enjoying the fondue. We highly recommend the experience.

The experience for my children was incredible… they really enjoy the out of the box dinning. The food was very good. As always Alpenrose is The place.

Great experience. Fun cooking and conversing in cozy gondola. All the Kids had the most fun at dinner the whole trip. Jojo was the best. Will be back. Love eating inside on patio too.
