   Fresh, inventive, and simply divine! The cauliflower tacos are a must. They are a culinary delight, even for tried and true carnivores. The food was so good that we went back multiple times on our vacation. Loved the catch of the day tostadas. La gringa and Barbacoa tacos arealso exceptional. Staff is welcoming and attentive.

   This restaurant went above and beyond for my birthday and my family & I had the most amazing dinner ever. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the Barbacoa tacos, the Caesar Salad and the Burger! Apart from the food, the staff made this experience truly a 10/10. We’ll definitely be back!!

   The food here is absolutely incredible! I’ve been staying for the past few days, and everything has been a perfect 10/10. I can’t get enough of the burger and barbacoa tacos—I’ve had them multiple times, and they’re simply irresistible. The atmosphere is fantastic—beautiful and tranquil.

   Amazing lunch! From the moment you step into Almar, you get a feeling of tranquility. The ambiance is a perfect balance of laid-back coastal vibes and the right amount of elegance for an amazing experience. The menu is a true celebration of the region’s flavors, featuring fresh seafood. The aguachile was a standout—zesty, spicy, and perfectly balanced, with shrimp so fresh it tasted like it came straight from the ocean. The cauliflower tacos are a must!!! Not to forget the Hamburger, truly cooked to perfection. Cocktails here are just as impressive. The mezcal-based drinks are a must-try, with smoky, citrusy notes that pair wonderfully with the food. The service was warm and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Almar delivers in every way. Can’t wait to come back!

    Woooooow! Might be the best food I’ve had in Costa Rica! I had the cauliflower tacos, the barbacoa tacos, and the charred avocado salad with shrimp. Incredible!!! Also the desserts 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩!
