   Went there for the first time for brunch. Tre Leche pancakes we good but not outstanding. Chilaquiles were some of the best I ever had. Fish Tacos were great. Before we leave Scottsdale we’re going back to try the dinner menu. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

   The food was delicious and the menu was filled with so many options. The prickly pear margarita was outstanding and refreshing. The service was excellent and the entire staff was attentive and kind. I will definitely be back.

   Alma has a wonderful atmosphere. Comfortable outdoor seating and an adventuresome, creative menu with tons of healthy vegetarian and gluten options - that are also well priced.

   We ordered the Sea Bass for 2 WOW!! What a presentation!!! So Unexpected but so Fun! Fish was delicious - Build your own fish tacos with an assortment of sides!! The only side that wasn’t tasty were the marinated veggies - little TOO Strong with vinegar! Blackberry was SO GOOD ! One could get in trouble with too many of those!! First time there and we WILL be back!! CHRISTINE WAS AWESOME!!!!!!

   We love everything about Alma! The last visit we were there with family we hadn’t seen for awhile and we were seated outside. It was a bit loud with speakers above our head and since we were there to talk and catch up, we asked for a different seat. She said we really were in the best seat AND then went into the restaurant to turn down the music just a bit so it was still a fun atmosphere but we could now chat with each other. VERY CLASS ACT, that’s one of the reasons we love it there!

   Food was delicious! Drinks were also tasty and beautifully presented. Service was a little hit and miss with food and drinks coming out at different times, drinks overflowing then spilling down the glass, different people attending to our table vs the typical one. None of these being deal breakers in any way, just inconvenient. I will probably be back again!

    Alma is one of my favorites in Scottsdale! They have a great outdoor patio and the inside is also well-decorated. The servers are always attentive and every time we've been there a manager has walked around checking on tables. The food is what I would call upscale Mexican. Lots of unique options and great flavors. Ine thing we always get is the watermelon salad which is so flavorful and delicious we ate it before taking a picture! The chips, salsa and guac are always good. We've tried a variety of items on the menu. This time we had the mushroom enchiladas and roasted corn salad. I've liked everything l've tried there. The birria quesadillas are probably my favorite. They also have good margaritas with fresh lime juice and a decent variety of wine offerings as well. Absolutely recommend!
