Alma Rosa Winery urban tasting room is located on Mission Drive in Solvang. Our wines are layered, vibrant and balanced, and they reflect the special terroir of the Sta. Rita Hills, which benefits from cool Pacific Ocean breezes funneled inland through the unique transverse mountain range of our region.

Come visit our new tasting room in downtown Solvang that offers a stunning 1000 square foot courtyard and wonderful indoor/outdoor space for our friends, family and fans.

We did not have any food here although the wine tasting was excellent. Great wines, small productions and Rebecca was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Food? A nearby place serves popcorn with their wine. Alma Rosa is for people who enjoy and savor Santa Rita Hills. This is THE major local winery that should not be missed. Compare the vineyards of the Pinot Noirs. You'll see what a difference soils make. Ethan was knowledgeable and low-key with gentle humor.

Alma Rosa is more than just a tasting experience - we were thoroughly entertained and educated about the winery and region. Lovely setting, convenient walk from Solvang Hotels, and of course amazingly delicious wines :)

Wine was very good but a little pricy. Service was solid, the staff knows their wine and enjoy talking about it. Was expecting to get a bit more wine poured each glass but understandably it’s a tasting not a drinking haha.

My sister and I had a great time doing wine tasting. The staff was kind and attentive. The wine was very nice and affordable. We’ll have to make another visit sometime soon!

Wines are good, clean room with good service. No recognition of our club status though they did waive the tasting fee.
