   What a wonderful meal and experience! Sitting at the counter was amazing. As a Chef it’s so nice to see this level of care and love for the art of food. I wanted to try everything! We were even sharing food with the couple sitting next to us. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

   Food was exceptional. Really enjoyed eating at the chef’s table and learning about the food. Rico was great!

   It's a shame that one has to wait so long for reservations only to find such mediocre service. I was really looking forward to dining at Alma Fonda Fina, especially with the Michelin star hype, but unfortunately, the experience left me pretty underwhelmed. The food? Actually quite good. The dishes showed incredible flavors (the smoky tuna tostada, the tacos and the frijoles were the ones we remembered). The 2 cocktails we got were solid craftmanship. I wouldn’t say it blew me away enough to justify a Michelin star, but it definitely felt like Bib Gourmand territory—good quality, interesting, but not mind-blowing. The service? Minimal to the point of being almost nonexistent. Our server came by exactly once during the entire meal. Not once did anyone check if we wanted another drink or needed anything else. For a place with this kind of reputation, that level of attentiveness just isn’t acceptable. Let me reiterate: we had one drink during our entire meal. Seriously. The seating? Another big miss. We were stuck at a table smack dab in the middle of the room, and my partner got bumped multiple times by people walking by. It was distracting and frankly uncomfortable. All in all, Alma Fonda Fina has some tasty dishes, but the overall experience felt half-baked. Definitely didn't feel special whatsoever when it compares to others like Beckon and Bruto. With better service and a smarter seating plan, it could be a solid spot. As it stands, I’m not sure it deserves the Michelin star it carries.

   They deserve all the praise given. The tostada with smashed avocado and fish was amazing and then the halibut in tomato broth was incredible. I didn’t realize broth could taste that good!

   As reviewed elsewhere, the food and service were exceptional! Creative and well executed dishes and drinks gave an elevated experience! No dish or drink we ordered disappointed!

   We sat at the chef counter and Rico was our chef/server. His skills and service were top notch! When it came to ordering, I told him that I would eat anything on the menu, so he curated the perfect meal. Can't wait to go back!

   Third time I've dined here and it is WONDERFUL... what amazing attention to detail with both the service and the cuisine. Each dish tastes and looks just perfect.

    This was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The flavor combinations in each dish were unique and delicious. I have no reservations in recommending this restaurant and will be back.
