   My birthday weekend,the day after my bday I had made way to the standard. Omg the potato tacos!✨✨ the dessert ! So tasty and the drinks the blood orange mule is my go to and that was my first time dining just loved it it! Great Atmosphere and people. I look forward to coming back for sure .

   One of the worst main dishes I have ever had. Chicken tasted like bad fish.

   Alma was impossible to get in to once they won Restaurant of the Year and after a period of silence, they are at The Standard (and have been quietly for a couple of years). The menu has lots of super interesting and delicious sounding choices - we tried 6 different things and took recommendations from our wonderful server. It was fabulous and I would highly recommend it - they just need to get the word out that they are there!!!

   Amazing food and some of the best wait staff service I've ever had in LA. Great restaurant and worthy of it's place on Jonathan Gold's best of LA list

   We arrived way too early for the cool crowd, perfect time to sit as the sun set and catch up with friends. Cocktails are superb and the chickpea sticks and onion puffs are great drinking snacks. Server was a nice normal person, so helpful, left his Sunset Strip ego at the door. We will be back!

   Our waiter was very attentive and apologized for how long our meal took. While they advise ordering to share, I think it is really covering up the fact that they are severely understaffed to manage the restaurant. They only had 5 tables when I was there on a Sunday night and it took me over two hours to get my main dish. My fellow diners were not happy nor impressed with the food. The wait staff kindly offered us a round of cocktails and dessert which was appreciated but it was overpriced for the small portions and wait time.

   At first site it was a winner! The hotel and restaurant has been restored to it's former glory. What a treat to go back in time and into the future all at the same time! The menu choices were unique and modern. We had never experienced this level of gourmet cooking and truly enjoyed the service and the dinner. Thank you Sam for helping us make our dinner, wine and dessert choices! This is a wonderful gen in the middle of all the busy busy! Oh! Breakfast was Awesome as well! You knocked it out of the ball park! Thank you!

    Nothing i could not cook up in my own kitchen. Mixed drinks were subpar. Why on earth it took so long to bring out basic chicken kabobs with store bought tasting tahini and oily fries is beyond me. Standard raise your standards.
