    My wife and I had a lovely meal in the restaurant. The starters were very appertising. My wife had the ham hock terrine and I had the cray fish and lobster posh prawn cocktail. For main course my wife had the sea bass and I had the 8 oz steak. All of the meals were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Several of the people around us had deserts but I cannot comment as the two courses we ate were more than enough. The restaurant was very comfortable offering a choice of sitting at tables with a view of the gardens or more personal booth type tables within the shades of the restaurant. All the people working in the restaurant were very polite and willing to talk to the patrons regarding anything. They are building a new restaurant within the hotel which has a sign "fine dining coming to Aldwark", I really don't know how they will improve on the one they have. Well worth the cost of a visit.

    Beautiful place very clean and comfortable.lovely staff all friendly and excellent food the fine dining restaurant was superb as was breakfast.

    The most beautiful meal we have ever had. Wonderful service, very attentive staff & the quality of the food was better than anything we have ever eaten! Topped off our wonderful stay at Aldwark Manor - we will be returning 100%

    Fabulous restaurant, food was outstanding visually and flavourful, service was good and anything we asked was answered. The restaurant is beautiful inside.

    Food was expensive for what you got. Service was quick and waiter friendly, but did forget my gravy. Thought there was too many people serving us which seem a little unorganised. It was a relaxing evening even with the minor niggles.

    Food looks very nice but not much taste. Cocktail are a let down to. Nice wine choice. Hotel staff are amazing, breakfast team was good food not. Restaurant and bar staff a let down due to speed. Very quiet restaurant but slow service, may be due to training bar team on a Friday night. Highly recommend hotel would skip the restaurant.

    My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant. Superb food and service from very friendly staff in a pleasant environment. And they make a delicious French Martini! Well worth a visit.
