Food was exceptional. Varied menu. I had a Mexican stew that was delicious. Wine list was good. It was the food that put it over the top and great location.

Alchemy serves wonderful food with fresh local ingredients. The flavors were unusually intense and the food itself was rich and satisfying. Our experience has been over the years that this is a restaurant to visit in the off-season. In the middle of summer, the restaurant becomes noisy, the service more rushed and the food less delicious.

Great restaurant ... the menu is not large but they have everything from a burger to duck. The cod and crispy chicken was fantastic!!!

Wonderful dining experience. Brian, our server, was terrific with his meal suggestions as well as being an excellent waiter. Our food was delicious, the crab salad, duck and pork tenderloin being our favorite. We will certainly be back and look forward to an enjoyable evening with Brian. Dawn Warsofsky

Food and ambience very festive. server was excellent despite crowded holiday evening. Very professional. Food was hot, tasty and well presented. Favorite table under that stairs that seats 5, the exact number of our party. Great evening.

Always reliable, always dependable for an enchanting, fun and romantic dinner, Alchemy sets the standard in Martha's Vineyard for dining out. Don't miss the bag of fried oysters, though they are now served in a box. Increasingly, we feel that this is the only restaurant on the island that deserves our time and our dining out budget.

Our waiter was terribly rude to both us and other staff in front of us. The food was good but VERY overpriced. We won't go back
