   We booked a reservation on OpenTable nearly 2 weeks ago, and when we arrived, the owner told us that she did not have a reservation for us, although she called out my last name in her booking system. She denied having a booking for us and said that she doesn’t work with OpenTable. I showed her the booking that I made, and she still denied a table for my family of four despite us traveling all the way to the restaurant and there was an empty table for four when we arrived. She made no attempt to make anything work for us and made no apologies for her mistake. She could have offered to wait to see if the empty table would be filled or ask us to return at a different time, but NOTHING. She claimed that she had no way of offering us any seats and blamed it on OpenTable.  it is super disappointing when you’re traveling to another country and go out of your way to select special restaurants only to have the owner rudely deny you and your family at the door.

   If you love Sushi and want a truly unique experience, Alapar was 100% worth it. Fantastic dining all around.
