   The Tavern has been our go to spot for a reasonably priced casual night out when in town. The burger and truffle fries rank as the best in Aspen.

   Really drafty and cold if you are seated near the windows. We had our jackets on for the entire time.

   Apres Ski bar that is quite lively, would recommend you wait till 7 for dinner so that crowd leaves and it quiets down some. Food was excellent. Authentic European food, veal schnitzel is wonderful. Onion Soup was fantastic. Plat du Jours available as well. Servers are top notch, friendly and fun group. Great place, I can highly recommend it.

   Booked a table for 6 . Arrived 5 minutes early and table not ready . Put on a round table meant for 4 . Tables that would have been able to be put together to accommodate 6 properly were taken as the staff had not blocked the tables to make it ready for us . Very poor show and no real help provided .As we had to provide a credit card and would have been charged for not appearing not impressed at all . Food etc OK but we should have just walked out as the cramped conditions made enjoying the meal difficult . Surprised as we expected a much slicker operation as Ajax part of Little Nell . Compares poorly with all the other places at which we dined in Aspen.

   WELL KNOWN FOR THE APRES SKI TERRACE, THIS RESTAURANT IS ALSO WONDERFUL FOR THE DINNER. IT'S A KIND OF BRASSERIE STYLE RESTAURANT WITH A DIVERSIFIED SIMPLE MENU: TRUFFLE FRIES, BURGERS, TERRIFIC SALADS, STEAK, MUSSELS... THE SERVICE IS AWESOME AND THE DECO IS NICE: A GOOD SPOT AFTER A FULL DAY OF SKI!

    Ajax was quant and the service was exceptional. The food was mostly very good; however, the COD was overcooked, under seasoned and tasted previously-frozen. The vanilla ice cream dessert was a bit of a disappointment as well as it was three very small (think melon-ball) scoops. The lemon tart was very good however.
