   Tea was amazing. 30+ selection and unlimited tea refills/ change. It was a Saturday with a pianist playing live. The ambiance was definitely nice. Our server, Marty, was very attentive and considerate. Great service. The only problem I would say was the FOOD. For an afternoon tea set with 65 pounds per person, I was expecting better food than what they presented to us. We each had the queen classic set. The game pie was extremely dry. The toast for the 'unlimited' sandwiches was so dry. Though I would say they really did put some thought into the fillings. Was creative. Then, let's talk about pastries. Terrible colors was used due to the 'holiday theme'. Weird green frosting to represent a Christmas tree, and weird hot pink to decorate the cherry. The texture of it wasn't even close to what I pay for. The scones were amazing. Enjoy them while hot. Scones were probably the highlight of the entire set. Overall, the value is pretty low but the experience was worthwhile. It really depends on what you're looking for I guess. But I think 65 pounds with what they presented was definitely a ripoff.

   Room very uninspiring felt like an anteroom Service seemed more interested in the "beautiful people" not old people like us

   We had a great time at the Domino room. We had a vegan and regular tea. The selections were excellent. We had a great time.

   Lovely Afternoon Tea at Cafe Royal, lovely dining experience we were a party of 3 and vegan menu and other dietary requirements menus were on offer so suits all we spent 3 hrs and didn’t feel rushed to leave.
