   Fabulous afternoon tea, with vegetarian, vegan and halal options. Fabulous venue, with lovely, friendly but professional staff, especially Martha and Jules, for whom nothing was too much trouble. They even provided two small, individual birthday cakes. Good value for money (without alcohol). I highly recommend The Royal Lancaster for an afternoon tea.

   A delightful and memorable afternoon tea. The cakes were like nothing we had experienced before - pure artistry. The hotel has some very talented chefs. We also enjoyed some of the best scones we've ever had. The service was impeccable - genuinely caring staff and very attentive. We loved the natural history theme running through everything and the focus of bees. Thank you Royal Lancaster.

   We didn’t feel like this was worth £110 The food was alright. The desserts were lovely. But the service was pretty poor. One tea was brought out five minutes before the other tea. The server spilled the tea and left saying he’d get something to clean it but never did. We had to ask twice for milk for the tea. We had to ask twice for more tea. We had to ask a different server for more cream after ours seemed to forget. Making eye contact or getting a servers attention was difficult. There were only two other tables so it really wasn’t busy at all. Each server had 1-2 tables. I felt like we could have had a more pleasant time going to a local cafe - we would have paid a lot less for a similar experience.

   Excellent afternoon tea, with both gf and vegan dietary requirements catered for. The tea, sandwiches, and scones were of a high standard and the cakes were fantastic. Not only beautiful, as they were celebrating the natural world, the ladybird was particularly beautiful and delicious, along with three other delicacies crafted to perfection. Ilolanda was the perfect hostess and not only greeted us but ensured we had a great time.

   Excellent service from our host Trina, calm and elegant atmosphere. The sweet made with creativity and the taste is delicious and each piece is blend of flavors. I would though wish they do the same with the savory part.

   I came for an Afternoon tea with my mum, my sister and my sister’s baby. It was a lovely atmosphere and Jules and Martha were absolutely amazing! So attentive and really made the experience wonderful. A huge thank you to them!

    We took our Mum to the Britain in Bloom afternoon tea for an early Mothers Day treat and were thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the ambience was so peaceful enabling us to have decent conversation. My Mum wears a hearing aid and commented on the lack of ambient noise that made it easy for her.
