   London is a city with great places to have the traditional English afternoon tea.... sadly, Park Plaza Riverbank is not one of them. At around £30 per person their offering represents such poor value it's almost a fraud. I had to ask them if this for one person. At the very least afternoon tea for 2 for £60 should have 2 of each item.... this did not! They had to scramble to get us a few extra sandwiches and the server did admit he could see where I was coming from when I asked if this was for 1 person or 2. The scones came 15 minutes later.... the explanation being they were heating them up so they'd be warm. I think they were from a pack of frozen scones and they didn't have time to defrost and warm them to serve with the sandwiches. It's always a bit of a red flag if the restaurant you're in is empty. This place could easily seat 80 plus an additional 20 on their balcony but throughout our just over once hour there....I saw no more than 6 people in total and that includes my wife and I. I'm now convinced that offers on Opentable are only from places that don't have a great business or following and so result to offers (this was a 1000 point table offer). This was a complete waste of £60.

   What a wonderful way to start our vacation in London! Up on the 12th floor, with a sweeping view of the Thames, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben in the distance, being greeted by Joia, who took care of every need and question. Lovely experience!

   The location offers a stunning view of the river, but the afternoon tea was very poor. The ground floor hotel staff seemed unfamiliar with where to send visitors. The food was dried out and clearly had set out for hours - we sent our back as the sandwiches were rock hard. We then had certain items substituted and the tray returned. Even if the food had been good (which it wasn't) the tea was poor value. However, the tea (drink) itself was very nice and the waiter was very attentive.

   The Sandwiches were very dry like they had been made in morning and left uncovered not freshly made .. there wasn't much choice compared to other afternoon teas I've had in the past . Choice of tea was really good and the view from our table of Houses of Parliment and Westminster bridge were amazing .. so made up for poor quality of food

   Poor food, seems from yesterday the quality of the food. It is a lounge of a hotel with guests going for glasses of wine. Not fancy at all.

    It was a great place to visit, it had a beautiful View of London, being tourist i really enjoyed it! The prices can be a little expensive but it’s worth it.
