   We had a table in a quiet area as requested. Staff were excellent and the food lovely.

   Lovely afternoon tea for my mother in law’s 80th. Sandwiches were well filled, cakes delicious and the scones had plenty of jam and cream to top them with. Excellent service too.

   the sandwiches and cakes were rather plain and overpriced. The room was very drafty and cold

   Despite saying it was for a birthday, there was no mention of that. Chose 3 savoury and 1 traditional. The savoury was excellent but the traditional was just 4 sandwiches and 4 cakes which did not seem equal value to the savoury. Ambience excellent. Service friendly but perhaps more casual than expected.

   There can be nowhere better to enjoy a full afternoon tea than to visit Oakley Court Hotel. Its situation on the River Thames is a delight and the hotel itself is a relaxing oasis away from it all. And the food and service is first rate too.

   Wonderfull afternoon tea which was a belated 85th birthday treat for my father. Excellent food as ever washed down by some delicious fizz but the day was made by the kind, attentive and very amusing Maitre D’ - Rafael !

   So nice there, lovely service and they couldn’t have done more to make it nice for our 6 year old too. Plus it was all totally delicious. Incredible home made jams and great value. Thank you!

   Afternoon tea was nice, only issue is after your two hours you’re not allowed to walk around grounds go to bar and have drink or sit down on seating by the river enjoy view, other hotels allow you to drink and enjoy grounds after afternoon tea or dinner, doing it strange being told you can not order drinks or sit by river. You basically have to leave after two hours.

    Beautiful setting , lovely variety of sandwiches and the cakes were just right .
