   The quality of the food in the afternoon tea was fantastic, we were welcomed and well looked after and the venue and location of our table was amazing. Our only gripe is that we had searched across the Cotswolds for an Easter-themed afternoon tea menu; this was the only one we found and was the basis for our decision to visit, so it was somewhat disappointing that there was not one nod to Easter in the entire food offering that we could discern - not a chocolate, not an egg, not even a chick or a bunny. Definitely a first world problem, and we would still recommend Ellenborough Park highly, but we thought this was a bit odd.

   Great selection of teas. Meat tray and scones was delicious however the dessert wasn’t quiet to our taste. Service was good and the nook was cosy.

   The best vegan afternoon tea EVER !! We pre-booked an afternoon tea for a family celebration, and we were absolutely delighted with the thought,consideration and variety of delicious savoury and sweet items presented to us. Many hotels simply take items away that aren't suitable for a specific dietary requirement, but the staff had put so much thought and effort into providing delicious plant based substitutes. We sat down in the magnificent but cosy Great Hall and were presented with a book of teas to choose from ! All the teas were loose leaf and of a superior quality, which added to our experience. The afternoon tea arrived, most professionally presented and delivered to our table,and it even included a plant based charcuterie board which we had never tried before,as most establishments would not take the trouble. So overall we were absolutely delighted and would like to express our thanks to all the staff at Ellenborough Park for going to the trouble to make our special day that extra bit more special.

   Beautiful grounds and building. The room was lovely and cozy, very regal and we loved the open fire. Food amazing, plentiful, tea choices good, cocktails fab!

   Beautiful setting that looks like it was pulled from a storybook. Tea and food we're among the best I've had. The Welsh rarebit was a treat.
