   Although coming in at the pricey end, the tea was all we could have wished for in terms of food, ambience and service. No curled up sandwiches here and the Champagne was just as it should be. The service was prompt and responsive.

   Even thou I booked thou opentable and had email and text to prove so the restaurant had no recognition of my booking. They didn’t have a great attitude and were constantly quizzing me about when I booked. When we were eventually given a table, service was slow and no apology for mix up. Won’t be returning.

   Be aware that the offer on Open Table is for afternoon tea in the Spa - not in the upstairs room. Luckily staff found a spot for us as this was a treat for my mother's 87th birthday. The hotel was very apologetic but clearly this is a common occurrence. Given the spa is in the basement next to the pools, this clearly was not where we expected , or wished, to have afternoon tea (it's quite dark and humid down there!) In addition, signage for the lift to the first floor was not good, including the exit to the bar being blocked by a drinks trolley and table (I think this area of the bar was being used for a party however, the way to the lift should not have been blocked as there would have been no other exit for disabled clients like my mother in event of an evacuation). So while my review of is for the Blytheswood, I think Open Table need to be clearer about their offer as there is a difference in price (£25 in the Spa as opposed to £29 in the main room). In future, I would book direct with the hotel.

   The food was great and really enjoyed it. Only got one cup of coffee and once food and drinks were served no one asked if we were okay or wanted anything.

   Was absolutely 100% perfection, made my mums 60th birthday a day to remember, staff were absolutely outstanding. Well worth the money, would highly recommend.

   We were treated to this by our daughter for our 57th wedding anniversary, it was lovely though we felt a little too expensive, we would recommend it though I think you need to reduce the prices a bit.

   My afternoon tea was fabulous the food was great but the tea could have been a bit warmer. The staff were very helpful and found space for me and my party when it appeared Open Table had not secured my booking, when it was made over eight weeks prior to the date of my booking. In future I will go directly to the hotel to secure my booking rather than go through Open Table as it could have been a disaster because it was busy.

   Thank you for a great day out in Salon Bar. I took my mum 85yrs and family for afternoon tea . My mum does not get out much and gets anxious sometimes you staff from Hotel Potter to waiting staff could not have been any more pleasant and helpful in making my mums day special for her . Your afternoon tea and service was outstanding . My family and I would like to thank you and look forward to joining you all again .My mum said it was one off the best afternoons she has had Thank you
