   They charge a 24% service charge for a tea that’s served in the hotel lobby and present a check with an additional tip line. We could hear people checking in and out and chatting with the front desk the whole time. Our server was amazing but she was training someone who spilled my tea all over their serving cart when she was pouring into a tea cup. The training server simply picked it up and dumped it back into the tea pot to re-pour. Seemed sloppy. I’ve had teas at other Marriott affiliated properties that were a better value and experience.

   The food and setting were lovely and it was fun to see all the ladies dressed up for afternoon tea. The highlight was the service of both the host and the server-just top notch and totally made the afternoon special.

   Such a lovely experience! The tea was delicious and perfect tower of eats. We loved sampling everything! The attention to detail was not missed. It was for my mothers birthday and they went above and beyond.

   A friend and I celebrated my upcoming 40th birthday with afternoon tea. (Also, we noticed that others were celebrating birthdays, too.) It was an exceptional experience. The hibiscus tea that was off-menu was divine and the "crumpets" were delightful. Isa was our server and she was knowledgable and helpful, even while training someone new. Anything we needed, everyone made sure we had it. And the staff was adamant about helping us capture photos. We plan to return because we had that good of a time.

   It was fine but not great. You are essentially seated in the lobby with no real view. The pastries and tea were very good and most of the sandwiches were fine but uninspired. At afternoon tea in the uk you can reorder sandwiches. Here they said they would see what they can do and that the sandwiches were pre counted for each party (though one type was terrible and there were just 2 egg salad for 5 people)They did up bringing more but make it awkward. All things considered we had a nice time but I would not go again for tea. We have had very nice dinners I. The dining room.
