   Yes but would check to ask if they were having any work done as a carpet was being laid as we had our afternoon tea and it wasn’t the quietest experience which was a shame as it was a special occasion which lost its shine

   The service was good, the venue was good but the standard of food was not up to our expectation, sandwiches were only on white bread (no brown option given) bread was dry and turning slightly hard, the cake selection was all one colour, brown and mainly sponge based with some chocolate the glass containers for the cream/trifle were to narrow for the spoons provided and the scone selection was only current no plain.

   Massively overpriced, we received one (fairly large) afternoon tea and were charged £80+. Our waiter had no idea what was on the trays and when we asked him he mumbled some responses before leaving quickly. The service was not good at all. Avoid at all costs.

   Very quiet when we went, virtually had the place to ourselves. Lovely waitress, attentive & very polite. Food was excellent & views were amazing. Would definitely return & recommend.

   My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. The Hotel itself is full of period features even down to the creaky floorboards and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

   Lovely views and lovely food. Crannachan could be better than a dollop of raspberry purée then all cream. Otherwise could not fault this lovely hotel and attentive staff. Definitely will return.

   The tea was served in individual tea bags with a large pot of water. I would have preferred an individual teapot this would mean you would not have a bowl with old tea bags sitting on your table. The sandwich fillings were tasty but the bread was dry and not very exciting. The choice of cake was poor, again not very exciting. Overall the experience was not value for money. I would not return or recommend to others.

   The afternoon tea was to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were made very welcome and given a table at the window which overlooked the gardens which were lovely. Great service and food. I would definitely go back

    We enjoyed afternoon tea shortly after midday, sitting in glorious sunshine looking out at the beautiful and verdant Perthshire hills. The restaurant was luxurious and peaceful, the service attentive and personable, and the food delicious. I would certainly recommend this for a classy and relaxing afternoon out.
