   We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Afghania. We had heard/read great things about it so we had high expectations and Afghania exceeded all of them. The pumpkin dumplings were amazing as an appetizer. I had the mixed grill and all the meats were perfectly grilled and seasoned. My wife had a vegetarian platter which had one flavorful item after another. Can’t recommend Afghania highly enough. We are already planning our next visit.

   This was a great dining experience. Unique, delicious menu. The dumplings were so delicious! The lamb was so tender and perfectly cooked. The service was great, definitely will eat there again!

   Second visit in six months & as good as the first. Wonderful evening so sat at one of the outside tables. Great welcome and food & service exceptional. This is a very popular restaurant so booking is definitely advisable.

   The food was excellent. Although the service was a bit slow, the staff were gracious and we weren’t in a hurry.

   We tried the flight for two which presented you a sampling of all the entrees since we were not familiar with this cuisine. We loved the flavor profile of all the dishes. Make sure you bring an empty stomach and pave yourself with little bites of everything before you get too full. We ordered to drinks My heart and Soul and Spices to the Orient which perfectly matched the flavor prifile of the dishes.

   Love Bistro Aracosia and now to have its “sister” Afghania in Georgetown is a boon to us. W onderful food and service!
