Served a la carte or as a $75 prix-fixe experience, guests can enjoy a curated menu that begins with Cadillac Oysters or a Focaccia Platter, followed by large plates, sides and desserts — think Lobster Benedict; Buttermilk Waffles with caramelized banana cream and bacon marmalade; or Grilled Red Snapper served with tomatillo salad and salsa verde. Sweet endings come in the form of a Triple Chocolate Tart or a Mixed Berry Sabayon. Want to toast to Mom in style? Sip the summery Strawberry Kush, made with vodka, strawberries, shiso, Sichuan and sparkling water, or La Tropical beer, a Vienna-style lager from Key West. Guests can snack like they’re on the Greek Isles or Italian Coast with the Mezze Plate ($8), served with olives, hummus, eggplant spread, grissini and aged cheese; Crispy Calamari ($8); or Grilled King Prawns with smoked paprika oil ($10), just to name a few.

This restaurant was the worst experience I have ever had in Miami. It was my wife’s Birthday and I was trying to do something special for her. They didn’t even greet us when we first entered. Then when we sat down no one came to our table. We waited 15 min to get a glass of water. Then again no one came to the table. We ended up leaving.

The restaurant had one person sitting at the bar with a drink, a couple seated inside with drinks. It became obvious later that this couple had already placed an order for food and, at the time, two parties outside and us. It took a server over 10 minutes to even say hello and take a drink order. It was another 15 minutes before we got our drinks. On the other hand, the grilled octopus was perfectly prepared as were the wild mushrooms as they were delicious.

Great food, tastes great. Super slow service, waited about an hour for our food. Wasn’t even busy. They say they are busy but they’re mainly just either understaffed or don’t care for good customer service.

The establishment was very accommodating to the different requests I had asked to make the night special for my birthday guest! Between having our espresso martini and new fashioned drinks ready to order for both of us, the changing of the seats from inside to outside with the ocean view, and the cheesecake with berry compote and a lit candle to celebrate, it was all a wonderful evening! Thank you to the GM Phillip and his staff for being so kind and attentive. You all were fantastic! We ordered the Pita with classic dips, the crispy calamari, charred octopus and the saffron rice. Everything was very flavorful and cooked to a nice tenderness. The inside decor is very calming and relaxing with a bit of panache. All in all, it was a great evening!

Overall, this was the longest and worst dining experience my boyfriend and I have ever had. This wasn’t even a true tasting menu. Our reservation was at 10 PM, we didn’t receive our main course until after 1 AM, and we left the restaurant at 1:45 AM as one of the last guests to leave. If we hadn’t already prepaid for our meal ($400) we would have left and gone elsewhere.
