   The best crab cakes EVER!!! Also, very clean, tables well spaced, staff wore masks and changed their gloves often. It was great to feel normal again!!!

   The food is outstanding in flavor. Everything from appetizers to dessert was great. The only downside was the service. The server was friendly but it seemed an eternity between courses.

   Although I alerted the restaurant to the fact that it was my mother’s 80th birthday, there was no acknowledgement of that so I would not recommend this place for a special occasion. Our waitress only interacted with us to take our order and to bring us boxes, ask us if we wanted dessert and give us the bill. I had to grab someone else to get a refill of water. Insofar as the food, I got the brisket omelette covered in queso, which did not seem to be well-seasoned so I was able to switch it out for a strawberry and spinach salad with blackened chicken which was good. My mother and sister enjoyed their meals: the catfish platter and the chicken and sausage gumbo. Overall, the food was good (except for the brisket omelette), but the service was subpar.

   Good food and attentive waitstaff. Had drinks and chargrilled oysters in the bar with friends. Oysters were very good. Noise level was high. Moved to dinner in the main restaurant section where it was much more quiet. Fish of the day was quite good and the fried oyster platter was very generous and quite tasty, especially the onion rings. Had their trademark Hallelujah wine which was very good but seemed overpriced. Overall a very good experience and highly recommended.

   The food was excellent and a wide variety of choices. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The only comment I have is that the food was served on the cool side and could have been warmer. The restaurant is large and has many seating sections.
