We went to Adelle’s to celebrate a birthday and I let the waiter know. We were seated and then a couple celebrating their anniversary was seated right next to us. The restaurant was at roughly 25% capacity when we arrived. The couple’s table was so close to our table that our shoulders touched getting up and down from our seats and we could hear each other’s conversation so clearly that we had a conversation with them. We ordered two appetizers and watched while one of our appetizers was delivered to the couple. They told the the waiter they had not ordered it and he said it was complimentary. Then the couple told us how good the appetizer was and we told them we had had ordered it, but not received it yet. Our waiter then came with the other appetizer we had ordered and he explained that our first appetizer had been delivered to other table. Ours did not get delivered until after the couple’s dinner was served and just 5 minutes before our dinner. The couple received complimentary champagne and we had to ask the bus boy for boxes and dessert menu. We received nothing complimentary (including the appetizer that was delivered to the wrong table) and the waiter seemed to forget we were there until we asked for the bill. The food was good, but not anything special and could be found at other restaurants.

Our 7th year in a row and everything was perfect. Server was attentive and helpful. Appetizers of crab cakes and watermelon salad with added tajin were delicious as well as the main meals. Dessert with complimentary champaign for our anniversary completed this delightful dinner. Outside patio seating was comfortable. Perfection for us.

My wife and I had a terrific octopus appetizer and Haddock main. Naked and Famous mezcal cocktail was also terrific. We sat in the covered outdoor patio. Only two other tables were occupied. Don’t know why. It was warm, but very pleasant.

Took a long time to get our second round of drinks. I had to remind the server. Also, asked for salt and pepper and never got it. Ordered a side dish of asparagus and never received it either. Everyone at the table ordered Haddock. Very generous portion very flaky and fresh but everyone agreed it was way too salty. I don’t know if it was the fish itself or the bread crumb topping. Outdoor patio is absolutely lovely and very private. A very unique setting especially on a pleasant evening.

The Octopus & rustic bread were excellent as was the Avacado & Wedge salads. The Haddock was done to perfection, the Crispy chicken was excellent as always.
