   The food was very good, but it took a little too long from the time we placed our order to the time the food arrived. We arrived around 11:40 a.m. for lunch, and there were only three other diners in the restaurant, so not sure why it took so long.

   Great place with great menu to enjoy a nice lunch. I noticed a hardy selection of beers that I will try on the way home soon.

   I loved the raviolis' here. like mamma used to make ! The cheese plate went great with our red wine and spinach salad we split excellent a swell. Friendly waiter to boot.

   Food was fresh and well prepared. I had the Summertime pasta for lunch and it was...summertime in my mouth! The small cherry tomatoes were cooked whole til their little skins just burst to release their flavor onto the pasta...making the sauce for the pasta. Add a little VOO to that and pine nuts and you have a wonderful summertime, flavorful and not heavy dish! Delicioso

   THIS RESTAURANT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE MUCH, BUT THE FOOD IS GREAT! WE HAD A VARIETY OF ENTREES (MEATBALL AND POLENTA, MUSSELS, PASTA WITH MEAT SAUCE - THEY WERE AOUT OF THE STEAK) AND ALL EATERS SANG THE PRAISES OF THEIR DINNERS. THE PORTIONS WERE JUST RIGHT, SALADS CRISP AND FLAVORFULL. WE WOULD COME BACK HERE OFTEN.

   Had a delicious polenta with meatball. Diane's bread with a yummy marinara sauce for spreading. Cobb salad had plenty of bleu cheese and chicken. I know the chef. He does a great job. Served us our appetizers. Server was sweet and very efficient. Nice atmosphere. Fits downtown.

   My son is the chef so naturally I like his cooking. He has gone beyond what he learned at home. Service was delightful. Love the bottomless Mimosas. Cute inside...very Italian as in small cafes.

   Started with the sucio French fries. Amazing. They had a special of braised short rib over polenta. The rod was very good, fall off the bone, full flavored. Everything you want in a short rib. We also shared the beer steamed mussels. The mussels were perfect. Nice size and full of flavor. The broth that they are served with was fantastic. Only thing I wish is that it was served with more bread to dip into the fantastic broth. It only came with one small piece of grilled bread. The prices are very reasonable for the type of food that they are serving. Will definitely go back.
