    This isn't a great place for delicious food, but the meats are aged and are excellent, and Angela, the staff, provided great service. This is our go-to restaurant. Excellent bar drinks. I can't say enough about this place.

    We had much higher expectations. We have been to other restaurants owned by Akira Back. This restaurant shows nothing of his capabilities. Food was fine. Only complaint was there were 2 pieces off of one wagu ordered that smelled and tasted with kerosene or butane. It was awful. Our waiter (who was also the manager) replied with “oh it must be from the rosemary I used to coat it”. Seriously. The egg soufflé was the best thing our family of 4 raved about. The service was awful. Hard time getting water refills. Took a while in btwn meat courses. Our last meat course was forgotten. We did get finally and was actually the best of all wagu options. Bulgogi was the name. I was baffled after reading all the reviews on this site. There is NO way these reviews were written by actual patrons. Sadly I will not be returning. Cost of dinner was $600.00 including tip. Such a waste.

    It was my first time here and it did not disappoint. I was thoroughly surprised and impressed by the restaurant’s upscale and modern interior and decor. They accommodated my late arrival due to an unforeseen traffic accident and my date and I were promptly seated. Our waiter was very attentive and surprised me when I found out that they cook the kbbq as opposed to cooking it myself. We ordered three cuts of meat: Chadol (Australian Wagyu Brisket), Snow Flower Kkotsal (Australian Wagyu Boneless Short Rib) and the Maribated Galbi (Marinated USDA Prime Boneless Short Rib). Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. what surprises me was that our hard working waiter was actually the manager. They were short staffed but it was a great experience nonetheless. I would definitely return.

    This place is like a hidden gem. The food was delicious as were the drinks. Great selection of meat cuts and each side we tried was yummy! The service needs to be drastically improved - 1 server for an entire area. He not only forgot to bring our drinks out, which we had to finish AFTER the entire meal was done, but he also did not bring us a salad and then told us that since they removed our plates, he didn't think we needed it. He was very slow to check on us, so we had to 'check in' on him to get things we needed. We're obviously okay to pay the high prices but it warrants much better service.

    Found this new restaurnt in th city, and this is such a great find! Pleasantly welcomed by the hostess though we are early, every servers were very patient and detailed to explain through all the dishes and drinks where we were spoilt for choice. The serving of the meat were amazing especially with the A5 wagyu which was stunning! Soju recommended by the server was so good and the portion of meat were generous. Ended the night with dessert and they were soo delicious even though we were stuffed. Amazing experience and will definitely come back for sure!

    I’ve been here 4 times , and even though our waiter was very nice ! some rude lady name Angela kept bothering us all night, first as soon as we sat and order .. Angela came and interrupted our conversation by saying it was last call for food ? we just sat! then keep coming to interrupt us rushing us up and never said excuse just came and grab things from the table , stand there next with a bad attitude until i finally had it and told her to leave us alone , horrible experience
