   We had a table in the upstairs dining room which was comfortable and not too loud but not quiet. While the food was excellent (served with delicious homemade bread) the service was extremely slow, but courteous). We arrived on time for a 6:30 reservation and were not served our main course until 8pm!

   Albeit the food was good the menu offered very little choice. The wine list is a disgrace as t is overpriced and heavily skewed toward high priced wines. Cannot recommend.

   Food was good quality, but compared to the price, expected a much higher level of quality and service. Compared to the Commune Social, this was very disappointing.

   Food was deliciously excellent! The place had a relaxing vibe! A must to visit when in HK.

   Food was just ok for the price we paid. Service was just ok and didn't seem very knowledgable. The bar downstairs had way better service, drinks, and ambiance than upstairs.

   Loved the ambiance and food especially the Chicken and Egg, Lobster and the Tart! 😁 Plus, it wasn't noisy at all by the time we had dinner there. Oh, and the service was very quick! So, My partner and I enjoyed our stay overall.

   Wir waren das 2 . mal innerhalb von 2 Jahren und es war in Summe wieder klasse!! Signature Dish ist das 63‘ Ei mit Trüffel- unbedingt probieren! Danach das Filet Wellington- auf dem Punkt- das Tüpfelchen auf dem I ist das Setting im ersten Stock mit Terasse, das coole englische Personal und die gute Weinauswahl! Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist völlig in Ordnung ( zu 5 mit je 2 - 3 Gänge und 2 Flaschen Wein 400.- Euro) Hingehen!!!

   We couldn't find anything on the dinner menu we liked but they had a pasta special they adapted for us. It was amazingly good!!! Appreciate the effort! Service was perfect!

    We learnt about this restaurant via the JIA Group e-newsletter which advertised the “Dry January” promotion and were very excited to find out more about Aberdeen Street Social, so naturally we booked a table to try it out asap on the very same night. We were greeted politely at the reception and were ushered to our table upstairs. First to come were the bread and butter, which were served toasty and warm and tasted delicious. As for the appetizers, the scallops were skillfully cooked: crispy on the outside and soft inside. The beetroot salad was refreshing and nicely plated. The crab dish had small pieces of shell in the mix and tasted like it’s been in the fridge for too long. Regarding the main dishes, the lamb and sea bass were both lovely, but the portion of the pork dish was quite small as a main dish and for its price. The service was okay but we were very surprised that they charged us full prices on the drinks. When we asked our waiter, we were told happy hour is only for downstairs but when we received the drinks menu the happy hour prices were presented. It was just a bit disappointing that they did not advise us this before we placed our drink orders. (Please be aware!!!!) Overall the food was nice but the prices were a bit high and we just feel cheated on being charged full price of drinks when the “Dry January” promotion was very blatantly presented to us on- and offline at the restaurant.
