   We had butter lettuce with goats cheese and Caesar salad, followed by scallops. The salads were very fresh and crisp with just the right amount of dressing. Scallops were lightly grilled and very tasty, with lemon butter mashed potatoes and asparagus. Delicious. And a fine bottle of Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay. A good list and all the wines are very reasonably priced - and mostly local wines. Views of the bay are excellent!

   It took us forever to get our food. Waiter forgot to put in an order of calamari, which we hoped to have as an appetizer. When we received the order, the fried part was falling off and you were left to eat only rubbery bland squid. I think because the calamari order was rushed out, that pushed out our main meal. From the time we were done with the squid to the time we got our food, we were sitting there for close to 30 minutes. We never were checked on yo make sure everything was going good. We constantly had to get our waiters attention as he zoomed by to other tables. I wouldn't come here again...

   The service is always top notch with the servers being very attentive but not annoying, the food it always served hot and delicious, seasoned well and a perfect portion. We never leave feeling hungry. Try the Caprice Coffee for dessert, you won't be disappointed.

   Last time I was at Caprice was 25 years ago. it continues to be wonderfull. Best scenary with a view to the golden gate, consistent food and friendly service. at the end of the dinner our waiter made a swan of an apple to my 7 year daughter

   I have food allergies one of them being citrus so I can't have any lemon. They grilled my salmon to perfection and remembered no lemon. I had a wonderful glass of Silverado Merlot with dinner. The food was wonderful!

   We came to celebrate my birthday and everything was perfect. The full moon,great view, fantastic service and the food was simply the best. It was certainly a romantic night to remember. Thank You!

   We sat for 15 minutes before my companion finally walked over to the bar to get us a drink. We waited another 10 before we got menus. Another 10 before we were asked what we wanted. The food tasted like air- like absolutely nothing. The views were beautiful of course. To top it off- the waiter hand wrote in his own gratuity at 18%!

   The Waiter, Kevin is great and complimented our experience as we enjoyed the tasty food at A Caprice... It was a fixed menu for New Years and everything was exquisite. My wife raved about their tiramisu.
