   Great choice for seniors on a double date with tickets to see a play at Gateway. Very good service, and we were out the door well in time for the play.

   Chef Jackie gives us a piece of cheese cake with syrup to write happy birthday on the plate. It is out of my expectation. Thank you Chef Jackie and restaurant crew.

   Excellent food. Excellent service. Most of us had seafood (Hot Pot, halibut sandwich, halibut). All complimented the quality of the food. A couple of dishes were unavailable (wanted to try the Turkish meat dish, but no eggplant... :-(...). However, all restaurants may have to put a hold on a dish, and the server was excellent (helping with GF selections) and apologetic (one of the GF options!). Prices a bit high but not unreasonable.

   Food overall was good. It wasn’t that busy when we were there so food came really quick. Service was excellent. Price is $$$$, a little bit overpriced in my opinion.

   Went here on Valentines day. The table was really small and very close to other tables so it was hard to have a conversation and we were able to hear other people’s conversations. The charchuterie board serving was generous, but the ham had a bitter/spoil aftertaste. The server offered a new cut of ham but we refused it as I had already a bad aftertaste. The steak was good and the vegetables were definitely delicious. The chocolate fondue was mediocre, poor fruit presentation and very little chocolate that was quite oily, not what I expected when i ordered “fondue”. The server was kind and polite, however, she did not ask if I had allergies, the fondue contained pineapples which I am allergic to, so that was also not good. Overall, not a good value for the money, better food can be found elsewhere for similar or lower prices. Would not recommend.

   I reserved myself for the Dine-Out experience at 75 West Coast Grill because the special menu piqued my interest. To start with, the restaurant cocktail and wine lists had a lot of choices, the latter mostly from Canadian and particularly British Columbia vineyards, a loyalty and support that I was glad to see. Each item that I selected from the Dine-Out menu courses was a delight in every way; overall I thought that the foods were inspired, without being pretentious or bizarre. The presentation on each plate was eye-pleasing and tastebud-stimulating. Each dish involved various textures. The salad and dinner plate sauces were just the right amount and complimented, but didn’t dominate, the food. The quantity of each food item was just right. The components of the plates were nutritious. I chose the Pear Salad, the Duck Breast plate, and the Beet & Chocolate Mousse. My server, Arshia, was well- informed about all of the Dine-Out menu choices. When I expressed wanting to order the duck plate, but being leery because I already knew that the breast would be cooked rare, she knowledgeably spoke about what to expect in flavour and texture, resulting in my being confident that I would enjoy that dish. When it arrived, I was pleased to see that the meat was less pink than I’d anticipated. Arshia confessed that she had asked the chef to consider cooking it just longer enough to not result in chewiness. It melted in my mouth! I left the table completely satisfied with my menu choices, my experience in the restaurant, and my exceptional server.

   Love this restaurant. My friend and I went for lunch. I had the steak and blue cheese salad which was great as usual. My friend had the shrimp croissant and loved it. The staff is great and so is the service
