   for a place that calls themselves a prime steakhouse, the place was a disappointment..Service was slow and there were only 2 tables of customers, anyone that got steak did not finish the meal and it was not because they served too much, the quality of meat was poor and most meals were Luke warm

   Even though the restaurant was half full our waitress would disappear for 10 minutes at a time. Several times. When she was there she was very pleasant but for a slow night she should have been more available.

   Overall the dining experience was subpar, from the poorly made martini, to the mushy shrimp and the fatty filet, the experience was disappointing. I am grateful that they deducted my entire meal from our check, but that only reinforces how bad the experience was for me. Others in my party were surprised by the decline in service and had higher expectations.

   The place needs an upgrade overall, decor, food, ambiance... I could go on but I won’t. They need to close it down and do a complete remodel. They also need to add some healthy choices to the menu. Time to bring the whole place into the 21st Century!

   We were the only guests in the restaurant that night.. We were taken care of the bartender (Mitzi) because of it being a “quiet night”. Mitzi was incredible as she worked as bar tender, waitress, server, etc. She was wonderful! So attentive And efficient. She should be commended as an excellent representative of 189 Prime!!

   Hands down, best food we had while staying in Boston area!! The steak is very tender and the chicken was AMAZING! The bar was relaxed and upbeat and the bartender made the most delicious drinks!! Thanks !!!!😊😊😊

   Even though I was able to make a reservation on Open Table, when I arrived I found out that the 189 Prime restaurant is closed on Monday. The person at the hotel front desk arranged for us to sit in the sports bar and order off the 189 Prime menu. Loud, sterile, little ambiance considering the menu prices. The bar tender was also tasked with waiting on us and she did her best but was very busy. Had to wait and very little attention was paid to my party. Would not book here again.

   I have eaten here many times while on business and staying in the area. The staff is great! They will do whatever they can to accommodate you and make sure you have a wonderful meal. I have tried a variety of different options and each time I am glad I tried something new. My latest finds were the roasted vegetable flatbread and clam chowder. I would highly recommend both. I also had a nice filet but next time I would have them butterfly it. I will definitely return as the service and people make you feel welcome and they bend over backwards to ensure a positive experience.
