   Our whole experience was great. We live in Delaware and had yet to go to 1776 for dinner and we regret not going sooner! The service was fast, friendly, and personable. We had a7:45 reservation and we were taken back to our table right at 7:45. They took the time to share the specials from memory, showed this absolutely amazing platter of freshly cut steaks for display, and our waiter checked on us several times. Something I noticed in the periphery was everything they were cleaning off a table when guest around us left, they adorned the table with a fresh table cloth. No matter if it was soiled or not. That attention to detail on top of the fantastic service and impressively prepared food made the whole evening we were celebrating our anniversary special.

   In general everything was fine but the asparagus which was the daily vegetable was AWFUL. It was stringy and chewy and should not have been served.

   We had a party of six and we had plenty of space to enjoy our dinner. Our waiter, John was great. He made sure we had want we needed and had a fabulous personality. The manager came to our table two times to ask how everything was. We were all very impressed with the food and the service.

   1776 Steakhouse - filet mignon trio, great service, fine dining We have made1776 a must go because the filet mignon trio is an incomparable meal. Our Open Table reservation was honored and Tom the manager gave us the more private table we requested. Kathy our server was professional and efficient in her waitstaff effort. Treat yourself and make a reservation here…you will be in love!

   Great food. The steaks we had were cooked perfectly, and tasted delicious. We celebrated a family birthday and our server Teresa went over and above the norm to make it a great time. I do not think she and the other members of the wait staff could have done more . We will surely return for another great meal.

   The bartenders Matt & Shondell make great drinks, and the kitchen does an outstanding job on steaks & seafood dishes.

    Taylor was a wonderful server. Ambiance was nice with the piano player. Unfortunately my steak was tough. I had the Barrel steak which was supposed to be the best part of a rib eye. It was cooked perfectly- medium rare- but it was a struggle to eat only half of it. Chocolate cake was very nice and complimentary for our Anniversary. If we go again I’ll eat seafood.
