   I went for Sunday brunch after church on Easter. The choice selections were great and plentiful. It was a 3-course meal for the low low. It was $45 and was extremely filling with large portions. We were greeted kindly at the front desk by the hostess and from there everything was lovely. There was a jazz band playing which create an even more pleasant ambience. I have standing reservations here at least 2x a month. Also, they offered two different mimosa options both of which were very reasonably priced. The menu also makes suggestions as to which drink (alcoholic beverage) pairs well with the food choice. I really liked that particular caveat. Its luxury dining for reasonable prices that boasts good food, full bar, and great service.

   We made a day trip to the French Quarter and this restaurant allowed us to book brunch just one day in advance. Don't try to eat here without an reservation. The staff went out of their way to accommodate the extra 4 people that showed up with us, and all 9 of us had great meals and great service.

   It took almost an hour for us to receive our food and drinks, which had never happened before.

   It was fine. This place is in the casino. It felt commercial, but it was fine.

   Service was poor. Meal was cold. We fine sine in many places and this meal on yesterday wascrhe absolute worst. We waited far to long just to be served. Took the meal a long time b4 it got to the table. We couldn't understand b cuz there were not many people in the establishment. Holidays is not thectine to visit 1717.

   We celebrated my Dads 71st birthday today. We had the best service and ate delicious food.

   Went for the Valentine’s Day special & the atmosphere & overall service was great. Server was attentive and kind. Decor and mood was very nice; up until an unfortunate event took place. Another patron had an accident in the middle of the dining area, resulting in an ambulance needing to be called and other patrons trying to help/stop bleeding. Despite that the environment was pleasant. Now my low rating is primarily reflecting the food. Seeing the advertisement vs what we recieved was highly disappointing. The food was beyond bland. I had pasta that was literally boiled noodles. No seasoning, flavor, sauce, cheese..none whatsoever. As if they forgot to add it or ran out. It seemed to be sautéed in butter and then the topping was thrown on top (bacon) with fried oysters on the side. My partner had steak and asked for medium rare; it was overcooked, dry and again…no flavor or seasoning. 0/10 on the food. Especially for the price. I give 2/10 for the cocktails.

    We went on Valentine’s Day (night) so there was a fixed menu. The choices were ok, the food could have been better. The red fish was salty. The tenderloin needed a little more seasoning. The dessert I had was delicious, red velvet bread pudding. Our server was great, very professional and pleasant. Ambience was beautiful, decked out for Valentines Day.
